Claire Matthews
I have over 15 years experience working with children in mainstream settings and children with special needs and learning disabilities. My career began working in a residential home and school for children with severe Autism and Learning disabilities. This led to my interest in Occupational Therapy. I graduated with a B.Sc. (Hons) as an Occupational Therapist in 2002. My work with children has also led to working with specialist organisations overseas in place such as Nepal and Vietnam. In 2009 I became a Mommy myself to Billy and then to Harry in 2012 . . . . . And then the real hard work (and fun) started! 

Jenny Hayes
I have 7 years experience working with children both in mainstream settings and children with special needs and learning disabilities. I graduated with a B.Sc. (Hons) as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2011. Since then I have worked with mainstream preschool and school age children and children of all ages with special needs. Most recently I have been working in a communication team of a special needs school. I have also had opportunity to work overseas - In 2010 I spent six weeks at a medical college in South India. Since my nephews Billy and Harry have come along, I have tried to spend as much time doing auntie duties as possible!! It's my favourite time of the week! I have always enjoyed working with preschool age children as their rate of development and capacity to learn at this age is incredible! 

We both felt we wanted to do something new with our careers which incorporated our passion for children's development and their education and Claire wanted find something that fits in with looking after a young family. So the search began. . . . . And then we found Toddler Sense! The rest as they say is history! We can promise you will have a wonderful time each week meeting new mums, bonding with your precious little one and watching them develop in an amazing way! We look forward to seeing you into our classes where you will receive a warm welcome from ourselves and other like minded mums!

- Halesowen, 1st Halesowen Scout Centre – Tuesday mornings
- Barnt Green, Scout & Guide Centre - Friday Mornings 
 
PARTIES:
Here at Toddler Sense we are pleased to announce that we offer Award Winning Party Packages suitable for children up to 5 years of age. If you have experienced one of our award winning Toddler Sense sessions then you will know all about some of the exciting experiences that are in store for you and your child. If not, we can suggest a range of activities and songs to suit the occasion.

Our Toddler Sense Party Planner will work with you to plan an exciting party that is suitable for the children, your theme and the venue.You can be sure that we will help you design a party that is right for you.
Our parties are jam-packed with wonderful sensory games and activities to delight, excite and captivate your child such as: parachutes, inflatables, soft foam play, light shows, discos, games, dance, instruments, puppet shows, ribbons, bouncers, pom-poms plus lots more!

Registration forms: Please ensure you fill out the registration details correctly, including the class you would like to attend. Once registered, you then be able to book a class online!

 Please note by registering, you are also agreeing to adhere to our terms and conditions as set as below.
 
Our fees are £7.00 per session

 (same as ALL Baby Sensory, Toddler Sense & Mini Professors classes in the Midlands)

Places are confirmed on receipt of payment. Block lengths vary so please see our website for current block dates. Classes roughly run in line with local authority term dates (Sept-Dec, Jan-Apr and Apr-July). Look out for seasonal specials and parties during weekends and holidays though!If we do not receive Payment within 24 hours of making a booking we will cancel your booking and re-open the space.

PLEASE NOTE!! 
The block of lessons you pay for can only be used within that term and CANNOT be carried over into the next term. If you know of dates in ADVANCE that you cannot attend within that term, please let us know and we will amend your invoice. We will allow 2 NON ATTENDANCE weeks within a term.
If you cannot attend your regular venue one week and wish to attend a different class at a different venue that week, please let us know and you can come along to a different class (subject to availability).
We regret that we are unable to offer an alternative for missed classes. You are however welcome to offer your place to a friend as a gift. If you want to offer your place to another please notify us as soon as possible so that we can amend our registers.

Taster Sessions:
They cost £7.00  to cover the cost of insurance and materials used in your session - you are under no obligation to book the remainder of the term. If you choose to book more sessions at the end of your taster session, please then just pay the cost for the remaining sessions in the term! 
Please note that attending one taster session does not guarantee your place in the class as these are only secure once payment for your term has been received. You may join at any time, subject to availability.

Sibling Discount of 50% offered when booking taster sessions and a block of classes. Please contact us to book as we have manually apply this discount.

llness:Parents are asked to keep their toddlers at home if they have a serious infection and to inform the setting as to the nature of the infection so that other parents can be alerted.

Refunds/Cancellations of classes: Toddler Sense will endeavour to run classes during bad weather e.g. treacherous snow conditions. However, should classes need to be cancelled you will be notified asap. Toddler Sense has the right to cancel classes without refund in exceptional circumstances beyond control (fire, flood, serious illness, treacherous snow etc.) but if possible we may run a catch up class at an alternative time or offer the session in credit.

 
Once payment has been received places are secured. All places are non re-fundable and non-transferable.Toddler Sense is under no obligation to refund or transfer your money in the event that you are unable to attend part of or the entire course. We regret that we are unable to offer an alternative for missed lessons. You are however welcome to offer your place to a friend as a gift. If you want to offer your place to another please notify us as soon as possible so that we can amend our registers. Thank you for your co-operation.

Insurance: Please note that parents are responsible for the safety and security of their property and their children and themselves within our classes. Over 5's are welcome to attend but we are not insured to have children over the age of 5 year on our Adventure Play equipment.

Data Protection: The information on your registration form contains personal data. Toddler Sense will record, process and keep your personal information secure in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Information will not be passed/sent out to a third party.

Confidentiality:Toddler Sense prides itself on creating original and unique ideas to ensure and deliver a top quality service. Certain content and information provided throughout our classes are copy written and under ownership of Toddler Sense. Toddler Sense grants you a limited, personal, license to use ideas for home use only. Toddler Sense kindly asks customers not to copy, reproduce, create derivative works of, reverse engineer, alter, enhance or in any way exploit any of the Toddler Sense materials in any manner, such as use of ideas in a public place, promotional event without permission from the copyright holders.
