Experience

I started my career as a Solicitor specialising in family law. I worked as a Solicitor for 7 years but never felt that it was quite the right career for me. My daughter, Sofia, was born in June 2010. Soon after I started to look for classes to take her to and I found that there were very few activities in South Tyneside that catered for newborns. I found the Baby Sensory website and just watching the videos and reading about what the classes involved got me excited. Unfortunately there were no classes in my area so I had to travel to another area but it was well worth the effort! I started taking my daughter to Baby Sensory classes from the age of 4 weeks old. I was hooked right from the start. It was then that I started to think that Baby Sensory was something that I wanted to be a part of. The classes are so much fun for the babies and their parents/carers. Sofia had her first chuckle during one of the activities and this is a very special memory. Having taken my daughter to Baby Sensory classes I have witnessed first hand how important it is to support the early stages of learning for babies. Baby Sensory is an amazing and exciting opportunity to enhance your baby's development in a fun and enjoyable way. It is also a wonderful way to meet new friends and bond with your baby. I am excited to be bringing these wonderful classes to South Tyneside and Sunderland and I look forward to welcoming you and your baby to my classes and joining you in the wonderful Baby Sensory experience.

Description

Heidi Surtees Baby Sensory classes run in South Tyneside and Sunderland. The Award Winning Baby Development classes are held weekly in Seaburn Dene, Roker, South Shields and Jarrow. These locations are easily accessible for parents living in the local communities including; South Shields, Jarrow, Boldon, Cleadon, Whitburn, Fulwell, Monkwearmouth, Roker, and Seaburn. If you are looking for an exciting activity which will be fun for you and will help with your baby’s sensory development call your Class Leader, Heidi Surtees, who will arrange for you and your baby to visit one of her classes.
